Review: Kryolan Supracolor Foundation

Hi all!
Have you ever heard about Kryolan? I'm sure a lot of you guys know well about this product. They are famous for their high coverage foundation and they also made other types of makeup products as well.
Well, I have used kryolan foundation before, but during those years where I joined Malay traditional dance team where all dancers used kryolan foundation stick. Haha I just borrowed from my dancer friend because I am not majoring in dancing, but in building so stage performance is just a hobby and what i did in my free time.
Okay back to the product.. I purchased trial pack of Kryolan Supracolor Foundation in two shades. This is a 'repack' packaging by the seller and it's smaller (10gm) than the full sized container which contains 55ml of the product. I got two shades which are shade 4W and 3W. There are quite a lot of shades to choose from.

So here is my face before and after applying the foundation..

Bare face. Got serious dark eye circle there.

After applying 1 layer of Supracolor Foundation in 4W and another 1 layer around under eye and the bridge of the nose using 3W. Shade is perfect my my skintone.
*Please note in the picture, I did put on a bit of contouring using bronzer powder, blusher, and loose powder.

Close up look of my skin with Supracolor Foundation.

FIRST IMPRESSION

So, the day I tested out this product, I did went out to run some errands. And at the end of the day I decided to took picture of me wearing the same makeups because the staying power is quite amazing. I thought this foundation can be a bit scary because it's oil base and the texture is so creamy. But, it did not shows oily on my skin and in the picture. You can see the pictures below.

Time applying: 2.00pm
*This is right after I applied the foundation + bronzer + blush + loose powder

4.00 pm. I went out to run some errands and eating ice cream :D

6.45 pm. I just went back home and took a picture before I remove all the makeups. Seriously you guys, I literally look like I just put my makeup on! the staying power is walahwehhh hahaha. No wonder there's a lot of makeup artist in Malaysia choose this foundation.

WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT?

* High coverage. No need to wear any concealer for my dark under eye circle. I got major problem with it, I seriously think this work better than my concealers.

* Smooth application. Because of it's oil base and creamy texture.
* POWER PUNYE staying power hahahha. Usually when I wear any liquid foundation, the foundation will wiped out around my nose and I will need to touch up. But not this one.

WHERE TO BUY?
Pemborong Kosmetik KZ (I bought here)

LAST NOTE
* I applied this product using a damp sponge with dabbing motion.
* I have normal skin but sometimes my T-zone area can get a little bit oily.
* My shade is 4W, I am in shade MAC NC30 :D
* The pictures of me as shown above are not retouched. Taken using Iphone 4s camera.

That's all from me, Thank You for reading! :D

Halloween: Disney Villain's Ursula Makeup Inspired

If any of you are going to a halloween party or a costume party, and still finding idea on what to wear and what makeup to put on, i would like to share one :)
Actually these are the look that i did for a contest organized by Colours Cosmetics Malaysia which is around 2 months ago. The theme is Disney so contestants can choose which ever character to recreate. I chose Ursula because I think she actually has a nice makeup on :P hahaha even she lives underwater! I guess her makeups must be waterproof one hehe. I have fun recreating this look which is inspired by Ursula, the Sea Witch.

Products Used:
For Face-
Revlon Colorstay Foundation in Warm Golden
Maybelline Mineral Concealer in 02
Ben Nye Luxury Powder in Banana
Blue and Purple eyeshadows for contouring and shading
MAC Blush in Fleur Power
Mac Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle
*You can use silver eyeshadow as highlighter for a more dramatic look*

For Eyes-
Maybelline Crayonliner in Black for eyebrow, fake beauty mark and tightliner
Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Liner in Black for eyebrow and eyeliner
NYX Jumbo eye pencil in Milk for eyeshadow base
Coastal Scent 88 Original Palette for Eyeshadows. Colour used Dark Blue, Purple, Turqoise Blue, Yellow, Lime Green.

This may not look like Ursula at all, I know. But this is what I could came up with. For more similar Ursula's look, u can use white paint mix with purple pigment and apply to your face as a base. then you can create the above eye look and contouring using the products I listed above. Have a nice weekend everyone!

A Makeup Look That Suits All Occasion

Excuse my derp face :P

I just want to show you the 'safe' makeup look that you can wear at all occasion. Of course it's the gold and brown eyeshadows that can suits all lip colours.

I need to do a quick makeup for photoshoot session with Significant Skincare for their upcoming new update. So i just grab gold eyeshadow and applied onto my lid with dark brown at the outer v. it's simple and fast, yet still can give the glam effect.

I tried MAC Mineralize Satinfinish foundation recently and i realize it is very good for photoshoot day just because it has fine shimmer in it that reflect light better and give you that subtle healthy dewy  skin. Loreal True Match foundation is the drugstore alternative that I personally think can give similar effect as MAC Mineralize Satinfinish did (especially for photoshoot) because it also contain fine shimmer.

Makeup look: Sweet Girl to Bold Smokey

Hi! It's been a really long hiatus, I'm soo soo sorry! I found that I have a problem to be consistent in posting entries regularly in this blog. So for that I am soo sorry!

I love to play with makeups and to make other girls pretty is my pleasure :) A million thanks to my friend, Tita for landing her face to be my pretty canvas on that day hehehe. Oh, she is a veerrryyy talented writer and she have a blog! You guys should check her out at tipu sunat. Thanks again pretty Tita (Yesss she is very pretty isn't she?)

This is Tita.. Before all the makeup products get onto her face :) Already pretty :)

Sweet & Simple Makeup Look

1. I'm still working on the technique to shape up the brow and clearly i need a lot of practice especially in hiding/concealing brow hair. I also thinks that it will be better if I tone down the brow colour as this colour look too dark on her fair complexion.
2. I also realized that I used a dark sculpting colour on her cheek (MAC Harmony powder blush). For fair complexion like this, lighter contouring/bronzing colour is better.
3. Overall, this is just a nice simple makeup look that can be worn for everyday makeup because it's simple, and also can be worn on special occasion like hi tea, festive season or a date :)

Bold Smokey Eyes & Nude Lips

1. Personally, I think smokey eye makeup look better on her big rounded eyes :D
2. I used my favourite shadow from MUA, shade 12 :)
3. Perfect for a special occasion (night time events)
4. She looks pretty right?

hihi.

That's all, thanks for reading!
