College Annual Dinner MPA

Here are some photos of me from that night. The theme was Versailes Garden (i think i spelled it right, or not) So i thought a simple white dress with a flower headband will do :) I also did a very sweet makeup look. I just use a hint of rose colour for eyeshadow and a nice pink lip colour :)

1. Body Shop Passion Fruit Body Butter

*Smells soo delish! and keep my skin moisturized :)

2. Bioderma Makeup Remover

*This is an amazing product. It removes makeups in a blink. Thanks to Wiida for buying me this while she was in France :) 

3. Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Therapy in Rosewater

*I've tried quite a number of hand cream but this one, I can say is the best. The scent i picked is the common rosewater scent, but my friends preferred Lily (we bought together), This one runs quite fast i think i might get another one in Lily :) 

4. Essence Long Lasting Eyeliner in 02 Hot Chocolate.

*A good quality for the price. Tips for applying this: It sets pretty fast so make sure to apply it carefully to avoid messiness 

5. MAC lipstick in Sounds Like Noise

*I finally get my hand on this lipstick after wanting it so bad. It does not sell in Malaysia so i asked for my friend's favour (She studies in USA) I really love the shade. Perfect to wear with thick black eyeliner and coral blush as a pop of colour. 

6. Sigma E35 Tapered Blending

*I got this quite a while a go, but i used it a lot in June. Whenever i wanted to create the 'no makeups' makeup look, i just grab this brush and apply a bit of bronzer on my crease and finish it with mascara. 

7. Benefit Fake up Concealer

*Need to say more for this? hahaha. I need this to cover the dark eye circle around my eyes which i got for crazy sleepless nights during my final projects and exams.

Eyelook for formal dinner/event/prom (How-to)

Hi! 
Is there any of you that will having formal dinner or sorta-like prom coming up? I am.. hihi
So today, having lots of free time at home, i decided to create two natural glamorous eyelook that you can wear for your upcoming formal dinner/prom. If you don't have any, you can wear this look anywhere you want, festive day out, romantic dinner with love, anywhere :)

Look 1: Soft Brown Smokey 

 *As usual, I only show step-by-step for eye makeup. I have prepared my face and did my brows beforehead. 

1. For this look, you may need an eyeshadow base, preferably shimmery / frost finishes brown. I used NYX jumbo eye pencil in French Fries, a frost bronze color. Swipe it all over the lid. 

2. Using an eyeshadow brush and a shimmery bronze eyeshadow, apply it to all over the lid. I used shade chocolate from MUA Artiste Palette. 

3. For crease colour, I used a warm colour to make the eye look warmer. You can skip this if you want to. I used a bright matte tangerine colour from Coastal Scent 88 Original Palette and applied it to the crease using a crease brush. 

4. To enhance the outer corner of the eye, use a dark brown eyeshadow. I used the darkest brown colour from MUA Heaven and Earth Palette. Apply it creating V shape at the outer corner of the eye. 

5. Apply highlighter to the inner corner of the eyes and on the brow bone. I used the most pale colour from MUA heaven and Earth palette. It's shimmery so it's good to use for formal event as there will be lots of lighting there. 

6. For lower lash, used a dark brown pencil eyeliner and smudge it with a dab of dark brown eyeshadow. I used essence long lasting in Hot Chocolate. Smudge it using a smudge sponge applicator. Do the same method on the upper lash line. Use the dark brown eye pencil on the upper lash line close to the lash an smudge it. 

7. To finish this look use a black eyeliner. I suggest using gel eyeliner on tight line and water line as it will not smudge and it is seriously black. I mean it :3 

8. For more dramatic look, apply lashes. As usual, i used my Ardell Demi 120 lashes which I really love! i think the only lashes that I can wear easily is only from Ardell as the band is soft (I got rounded eyes so its quite hard to use hard band lashes) 

9. Applied mascara on both top and bottom lashes. 

Here the finish look. The shimmery eyeshadow will look prettier if its reflects with beautiful lightings so always go to shimmery eyeshadow if you are going to this kind of formal event :) 

Look 2: Gold Goddess 

Think that the smokey look doesn't suit you? Try this look, it's softer but glamourous at the same time. 

1. Use eyeshadow base. You can choose either gold colour or darker gold or bronze colour. 

2. Apply gold colour eyeshadow all over the lid. I used the one from Inglot. 

3. For crease colour, use a medium brown colour. I used shade Cookie from MUA Artiste Palette. 

4. I darken the crease colour using a matte dark brown. This one is from Inglot. 

5. For bottom lash, I used NYX jumbo eye pencil in French Fries and set it using the same gold eyeshadow i used on the lid. 

6. Highlight the brow bone and inner corner using shimmery creamy eyeshadow. 

6. To finish this look, I used a metallic off-white eyeliner on the waterline and gel eyeliner on the tight line. 

7. Apply false lashes and line the upper lash line using black gel eyeliner. 

And here the finish look! :) 

I really hope you like it and this tutorial help you for your upcoming event! This look used natural shades so it can suit any look you are going to wear whether its classy or simple.

April Favourites

Hi! ohh it's the end of April (already) and i have loaddddd of works to do. Haihh boring.

I want to share my most used products throughout this month and what i thought about these products.

1. Revlon Photoready BB Cream + Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation

Iyep, i mixed them. i love how the bb cream have the moisturizing and hydrating effect but my face became quite oily using it. While on the other hand, UD Naked Skin gave me matte effect but yeah it's not moisturizing as good as the bb cream. So i tried mix both of this and tadaaa i love how i can get both moisturizing effect anddd matte finishes. Sometimes when i want to get a nice dewy finishes, i applied the mixture of these two with damp sponge. Note that these two foundations just gave light to medium coverage so it's good for everyday make up. In picture are Revlon Photoready BB Cream in Light/Medium and Urban Decay Naked Skin in shade 5.0.

2. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stain in Love Passionnee + Collection 2000 Cream Puff Moisturizing Lip cream in Cotton Candy

I guess i'm that person who loves to mix things up haha. I have love-hate relationship with that Revlon Kissable Lip Balm Stain because i thought the shade i bought is a bit too bright and dramatic for everyday use. I used the Collection 2000 Moisturizing Lip Cream (which is not moisturizing, at all surprisingly) to tone down the lip balm stain colour. And i really love how the combination of those colours created a nice pink colour with matte finishes (i love matte finishes, hate glosses). I know we can't get Collection 2000 here, but the shade is nearly the same with NYX Soft Matter Lip Cream in Milan. 

3. Gosh Jumbo Gloss in Cabana Orange + NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Stockholm

And here it comes another mixing haha. I love how it gives a bit of colour then just the lip cream alone. This is my go to lip products when i did warm look sorta orangy shades and stuff. That the pink lippies wont suit. So these will always be in my handbag for a go to lippies.

4. Sephora 12 Hour Jumbo Crayon in Copper

Waking up late and still want to look good? I will always put on these. Fast, and easy to blend. And did I mention it is velvet - ing finishes that is so smooth on your lid it didn't crease or drying. I really love this. Definitely worth buying.

5. Victoria Secret Body Mist in Secret Craving

Fruity smell. It's really sweet and refreshing. I really really really really love it i keep on spraying it on my body everyday, after i took my bath, before i put on my clothes, after i put on my clothes, i just sprayed it all over the place because i just love the scent! I've been doing injustice to my other perfumes after i get my hands on this baby :3 It stated on the bottle that it's from blackcurrant and vanilla absolute, explains the fruity sweet scent. 

6. Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter

I love Soap & Glory. The packaging, the scent, the amazing products, i just really love them. I just bought this small size body butter early April and i tell you girls, i keep on using it and there see it, i used up to half of the container. It just smell soooo good. You need to check on this product whenever you're going to Sephora. I'm planning on getting the full size one after this :3

7. Justin Timberlake - Mirrors 

Because he is so sexy and he's bringing the sexy back :P This is the song that i keep on sing along with in the car. Oh I just love love love this song.

Review: L'Occitane En Provence Shea Hand Cream

In this entry I will talk about my impression on the L'Occitane En Provence Shea hand cream. I recently got a 10ml sample from L'Occitane Malaysia after registering myself on their site. A month later, i got an email from them to pick up my hand cream in MidValley. I'm so excited and went there to pick it. I decided to try it on first before i do a review.

L'Occitane claims that this is a bestseller product. 

I redeemed my free sample at this lovely booth in Mid Valley.

L'Occitane Shea Hand Cream

"A super smoothing and best-selling synergy of 20% Shea Butter, honey and sweet almond extract, blended with the light and alluring aromas of jasmine and ylang-ylang essences. Texturally pleasing balm glides on and absorbs to help heal and protect dry or dehydrated skin. Anti-oxidizing vitamin E helps nourish. Invites even the most hard-working hands to a fresh beginning" source

My impression:
1. It does smoothes and soften my skin.
2. I sat in classes for quite a long time where my skin exposed to dried air-conditioned air. This cream prevent my hand to feel drier.
3. I love the scent. It smell like pink johnsons n johnsons baby lotion. It's pleasant and delicate.
4. It absorbs around 60 seconds after applied. (note that i got sweaty palms all the time so it may take longer on me)
5. It really does the job. So thumbs up!
6. Plus! I noticed that after applying it, my hand felt refreshed and cold (in a good way).

 The full size of this hand cream is 150ml and it also available in travel size 30ml.

11 Facts about myself

1. I got my younger sister when i was 17.
2. I love dancing and would dance if i have the chance to.
3. I think i am slowly turning to a shopaholic which scares me. But i love to shop.
4. I started seriously driving two years after i got my P.
5. I am a sweet-toothed person. i rather give up my portion of rice/mee/bread just to have a nice and sweet chocolate or ice cream (because all of it contains lots of sugar and carbs)
6. The farthest place i have been in my life is UK. I went there for an outbound program in a college in Liverpool for a month. I enjoyed everything about the trip and i would love to go there again.
7. I went to all girls school during my higher form (form 4 and form 5).
8. Perfect 'me time' is driving at a cold night with hot peppermint mocha from starbucks.
9. Sometimes i think i need to go to therapist for anger management.
10. I am not really sure about what to do in my life. Explains why i'm taking building related course eventhough it's effing boring.
11. I can just sit and watch videos in youtube for a whole day. without going out anywhere or do any other chores. I think there are so many black hole in youtube that we can sink into.

1. Which one do you prefer? Baking or cooking.

OMG i love love love love love baking. i am seriously so rajin into baking but so malas to cook. I can't cook anything. Serious. I don't know how to cook and i'm not learning how to cook. And i don't cook. haha. But i love love love love baking. i can make muffins, steamed brownies, pavlova, lava cakes, cheesecake, cheese truffles you name it. i love to bake and i will find a reason to bake. hahhaa.

2. Do you love sport? What type of sport do you play?

NO i don't love sport. That's why it's so easy to be fat than to lose them. haha.

3. What makeup brand do you love and crazy about?

I don't have a specific brand that i love because i basically just buy products that i think worth and i need. But from my collection, i think the best products for makeup must be M.A.C for high end and Revlon for drugstore.

4. How long do you usually spend sits in front of the laptop surfing the internet?

Hahaha this question really caught me. I can literally just sits in front of the laptop all day long. haha

5. Which one do you prefer? Heavy eye makeup or heavy on your lips.

I love both. I think i might choose eyes because i think the best feature in my face is my eyes so... yeah haha. But sometimes i really love the way bold lip color making you look more fun so i love both.

6. What is your daily makeup routine?

I have plans (in my mind) that i will do a makeup tag post, about everyday makeup look, including going to class makeup, going out makeup and "i'm late" makeup. What say you? But that will come later. haha. Usually what i love to do on my daily basis is i will not forget my mascara. If I got quite plenty of time, i will do a complete look with foundation and eyeshadow on. But if i don't, then mascara and a bit of lipstain will do.

7. List 3 of your favourite movie. Why?

Current favourite. I might like other movies later and i might have liked other movies before but i don't quite have that picture in my mind right now haha.
i- Pitch perfect - It's funny it's humungus funny and it's ridiculously awesome.
ii- Life as we know it - Because it got handsome Josh and the storyline is interesting and they were cute.
iii- Crazy, stupid, love - again, the storyline is interesting and it got RYAN GOSLING (half naked) omg how can you not love ryan??? and he did the dirty dancing move with emma stone (hahah?)

8.Describe what type of book that you love to read? What is your fav lovely author?

I haven't read story books for quite some time. the last book i read was written by a brit author. I think i just randomly picked any interesting book rather than just stick with an author. or maybe it's because i don't read that much?

9. How many kids do you want?

Haha. funny question aida. I don't have specific number of kids that i want haha but i think it would be nice if there's four of them? maybe. hahahaha i'm still young you know why should i think about thisssss T_T hahah

10. What would you do to release your tension.

I would go shopping. or I would go eat something realllyyyyy nice and worth to have during my stressed day. or I would sleep.

11. What is the best memory/memories you have.

I would say the whole trip to UK was my best memories. I missed UK. The weather, the classes, the madness shopping places, Costa hot chocolate, everything. I will go there again one day. Insyaallah.

I REALLY REALLY LOVE HER AND I LOVE PARAMORE (and i love MAC of course) and that is a PERFECT COMBINATION. oh em geee i really really want this special edition lipstick "Sounds Like Noise" how will i know if local MAC store already selling this? because i definitely going to buy it.
